I-am-always-right attitude

As some of you might know I’m notorious for telling people what to do. Just ask George, Internet; I really think it is a gift I have, I tell you.
I recently saw a quote on Pinterest and I found it kind of like my life… it read:

“Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the other is a husband”…

…It’s funny, really but with all of my bossiness and my I-am-always-right attitude, I know how we’ve morphed into a perfect match in so many ways. I can even say, I know him better than he knows himself and he just knows it, and this is why I’m always right.

And because a photographer’s blog needs an image on every post, here is one someone took from my iPhone the day of my birthday. and taking about birthday… thanks to everyone who called, emailed or wrote me on my facebook wall; you guys rocked my world.

Sneak Peek : Glamour-Boudoir

The last days in Connecticut have been delightful. Delightful-cold you all.  I don’t know about you but I hate cold weather.  I can’t wait to enjoy the summer.

Bad never felt so good : My wedding website + giveaway

It all started with a bad feeling. If you are following my blog, you know that my site and software on my computer were recently disrupted by malware. It was instant total chaos!

I didn’t know how long it would take me to fix but he battle is now over. Im happy to finally announce and celebrate the launch of my new wedding website by giving away something I recently purchased. My MUJI make up organizer.

We have been given a gift + boudoir

This week it’s been one of those weeks when I knew work had to be done and I couldn’t find the energy or words. Perhaps it was because my weekly schedule was non-stop meetings with friends and doctors appointments, coffee dates (my favorites), an engagement shoot, commitments I made, and the everyday mom duties.  All of that didn’t leave me with time to recharge.  It is okay, it’s Saturday and next week is not only a new and ho-pe-fu-lly a fabulous week following by a beautiful weekend because I will travel to NY to see my friends.

…Relationships, hobbies, dreams, seeing my kids play and rest,  gifts that are treasured, valued and enjoyed more and more each day.

In other news, I found some old boudoir photos I absolutely love… can’t really post all of them, there are too many, but here are a few…

Hello Fabuluxe : What Inspires you?

M
y inspiration comes in the form of love and visual images.  As a professional photographer I capture people in love.  It is a-ma-zing to be able to document love, life and the moments in between… moments in time that inspire me to be a better photographer.  This is where visual images come into play.

I love magazines and pretty things. I mean, who doesn’t right? I love looking through a magazine and be inspired by pictures and articles.  More pictures and less printed words please!, … at times you’ll see me rip pages out of magazines and tape them to a mirror-board I have next to my desk. Those magazine images stimulate my artistic touch to view the world from different perspectives.

In other news, I will be launching my new website in the next few days… meanwhile; here are some visual-pretty-things for you all.
